Description

Outfitter operates hunts on Public land both on Range and off Range. Hunts are conducted on White Sands Missile Range and McGregor Range. Outfitter is licensed to operate on both Ranges and also off Range on public lands. Both the WSMR and McGregor Range hunts are considered public land hunts, with licenses allocated by a draw system. Numerous hunts will be available for application on WSMR starting in September 2026 and continuing through February 2027. WSMR hunts are 3 day hunts and are considered to be once in a lifetime hunts, while the McGregor range hunt is a 2 day hunt and is not considered a once in a lifetime hunt. Outfitter offers both an "All Inclusive Package", which includes motel accommodations, transportation to and from the motel using outfitter's vehicles, and with the meals, snacks, and drinks all being included. There is another "No Frills Package" which includes transportation to and from the motel to the hunt, with lunch meal, snacks, and drinks all included for the duration of the hunt. Hunter is responsible for all costs associated with accommodations, evening meals, and any costs associated with trophy care.

Description

Expect to be hiking into timbered ridges, rocky outcroppings, open basins, and rugged high country. Glassing is a major part of locating and harvesting a mature animal. Be ready to sit for long hours looking to find good bucks and you may even want some kind of pad or chair to use. Have good comfortable boots for the hunt, some moderate-heavy hiking may be required to get into shooting positions. Obviously, weather happens and can change in short time frame, so have multiple layers of technical hunting clothing available. Hunting the western mountains is a treat if you come in shape and ready to hunt.
